Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actress. He began his career with the roles in TV shows, such as in Opposite Sex in 2000. The actor gained acclaim for his role as the Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero, in Fantastic Four (2007) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans was also featured in film adaptations based on comic books, such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim against. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). Alongside his character as Steve Rogers/Captain America Evans was recognized for his work in his appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) as well as Captain America: Civil War. He was one of the top-paid actors around the globe due to his role in the Marvel series.
